Yakima Paddle, Oar, Pole carrier attachment

Description

This is a set of (2) old school plastic kayak paddle carrier attachments.  They probably date back to the late 1970s, but they were little used, because I sold the boat.  These have a plastic Yakima round bar adapter, which is removable, but my oval shaped adapter did not fit this application.  Maybe there are other shaped adapters with longer reach, but for sure it will work with Yakima round bars.
I bought them as a paddle carrier, but if you use your imagination, I bet there are lots of other uses.... ski poles, a couple of 2x4s, other items you don't want sliding around and would rather have on the roof than in the car.
The strap is simple and secure.
