Here's a tip folks, the rule of thumb on length of oar is 1-1/2 times the width of the boat. If your boat 48" wide the oar is generally 72" long. This is a general recommendation for rowing comfortably. This is not a hard set rule its a guideline.

These oars have been in storage and are factory packed in cases of 10 pairs, some oars have scratches on the varnish surfaces and dirty or dusty handles. Handles are natural and can be sanded if you wish. These are cosmetic issues and will not effect the use or performance of these oars in any way.
A beautifully finished, laminated oar made from Tasman Fir*, finely sanded and grain sealed before varnishing. Robust and strong yet light and durable. Every oar is a perfect specimen. (* Tasman Fir is a registered trade name for the selected species of Fir used in Gull Oars.)
