These were used in gas stations back in the 1950s so parents could bring their children in to mail a letter to Santa Claus asking what they wanted for Christmas. This vintage Santa mailbox is from standard oil and gasoline company. Comes with the original decals on front and back. These are getting harder and harder to find anymore there were about 15 other service stations that made these I’ve seen other ones listed. Great graphics and colors on the metal mailbox green yellow and red original paint. Has the original lock on the front to lock it up. Hinged front door on front that opens and the top section opens and functions properly. Condition is good there are some scratches scuffs little rust but overall great condition for its age.
