    Description

Offered for sale is an Ozark Airlines stainless steel silverware set, consisting of a knife, a fork and a spoon.  The airline's logo and name appear on the top of the handle of the fork and spoon and on one side of the handle of the knife. The pieces were manufactured by ABCO, Rogers or ML Silverware, and they all are identical.  All pieces will be from the same manufacturer if possible.
Ozark operated in the United States from 1950 until 1968 when it was purchased by TWA.  TWA subsequently was purchased by American Airlines in 2001. The three swallows on the Ozark logo represent on time flights, referring to the legend of the swallows that return to the mission of San Juan Capistrano, in California each year on March 19.
