OOAK Custom Doll Repainted Fashion Artist Doll "Savannah" #66 Condition is Used/Altered/Upcycled. Please inspect all photos carefully before you bid! Please do not bid on this doll if you are not willing to pay for it. I welcome and am happy to answer any questions you may have.
Erica is a OOAK Altered Custom Barbie Doll repainted by "Deirdre Melchione Ballou". The head has been rebodied onto an early fashionista body. She has long side-parted hair that has been re-rooted with good quality high temperature nylon in a blend of orange and yellow. Savannah's side glancing eyes are Blue, she wears eye make up in pink tones, finished with black liner and lashes. She has pink glossy lips and  nails, and I've given her a light dusting sparkle on her cheeks. Handle all painted areas of this doll with care, do not expose to excessive heat, sunlight or water.
A note on my process:
All of my custom pre-owned dolls are scrubbed clean, and I recondition their hair. If I am unable to salvage the hair, I then will do a re-root using either acrylic yarn or high quality nylon doll hair. The face paint is then removed and their new looks are achieved using watercolor pencils, acrylic paints and soft pastels. Matte sealer is applied between each layer of work and when the finished look is achieved, two more layers of sealer are applied before the lips and eyes are glossed. All of the materials I use are the highest grade Artist materials. Each doll is unique, sometimes I do use photo reference to help me achieve the look I want to give the doll, and sometimes I go by my imagination. Finally, I love what I do, and so much LOVE goes into every doll I create! All of my dolls are signed and come with a silver or gold charm bracelet with the words "Made with Love".
One of a Kind Fashion Artist Dolls are meant for adult collectors, not recommended as a doll for children, although her face painting is protected with a sealer, she is a one of a kind creation and a work of art, and should be handled carefully. The painted areas should not be handled, as the oils from our fingers could cause discoloring or staining on the art. Keep hand-painted dolls out of direct sunlight, do not immerse in water. Please note that with any work of art, there may be some small imperfections. This doll is Pre-Owned/Altered. and She and all of her moving parts are in great condition.
