Description

Pair of new American-made aluminum-shaft oars with clamp-on oarlocks.  (2 oars and 2 oarlocks) .   Oar shafts are 1 1/4"  diameter, which is stronger than our standard 1 1/8" diameter oars.   And these heavier-duty oars are made in USA.  Price is for 2 oars and 2 oarlocks.
These are plenty strong. Don't worry about the joint in the middle -- it is very strong too.    They come apart in the middle  for great portability and compact storage on land, in your vehicle or aboard the boat.  Comfortable rubber grips.  7-foot over-all length.  Stainless steel spring button locks the joint in the middle.
These are made for us by the makers of Cannon and Accent paddles.   They don't carry an identifying brand label, because they are custom, but that is who makes them for us.
These oars will also work great on any rowboat.
Clamp-on oarlock (also known as oarpin) fits 1/2" diameter socket.   Rust-proof aluminum and stainless steel.   Although the oarpins are not made in USA, they are custom made for us to our specifications and exceed the durability and corrosion-resistance of any similar product made anywhere that we are aware of.  Frankly, most clamp-on oarpins are junk.  These are not.   For example -- the typical oarpin has a flimsy pivot bolt of plated steel that is only 1/4" in diameter.  These have a 3/8" stainless-steel pivot bolt.  That's a 50% bigger diameter for that bolt on top of the use of better-grade steel.   Sockets are not included but any standard  1/2" socket works.
