For those of you that love the recent Movie “Welcome to Marwen” you may enjoy this Collection that I am presenting just in time for Holiday giving.
Standing around in a local bar one evening, artist Mark Hogancamp drunkenly admits to a group of white supremacists that he often wears woman’s shoes.
After a nearly fatal beating by local homophobes, his memory & artistic ability is wiped away.
Mark uses the artistry of photography with dolls in a miniature WWII Belgium town he creates to help him recover from his acute memory loss, post-traumatic stress & emotional disabilities left behind by the attack.
These dolls often resemble people in his life, like this Doll,
Nicol who is his lovely neighbor across the street.
I was inspired to create some of the dolls portrayed in this Movie & donate a portion to the Wounded Warriors Fund CHARITY.
