~About him~
So I thought, what if Medusa had a brother? So I decided to create one for her and transformed Barbie's friend Ken into the creature you see - and he is full of little details! For starters, his black tail is made of a somewhat pleather fabric that has a scale design made of tiny square prisms that reflect little bits of rainbow when the light hits them. The front of his tail and down through to the end has a subtle ribbed design like the under-belly of snake. On the end of his tail is a rattle that really makes noise when it's shaken (this is my nod to my favorite monster-maker, Ray Harryhausen and his version of Medusa in the original "Clash of the Titans.") His tail is also partly flexible and can be moved about. His make-over on his face includes black eyebrows, green eyes and I gave him dimensional fangs against soft neutral lips. His hair is all black, has dimensional and 3D snakes writhing about - with eyes and tongues. Beneath his snake hair, I gave him an antique silver hoop earring in his left ear. Around his neck is a blackened silver chain with a (handmade) silvery snake charm. His wrist bands are black and coppery with a touch of gold. On his back is a quiver made of black textured pleather containing three arrows (with real feathers on the ends) accented with black and gold Greek Key trim (this is removable with a snap located at the bottom of the quiver). In his hand he holds a blackened brown bow with an arrow that has real feathers at the end (the arrow is permanently attached to the bow, but the bow is removable from his hand). Lastly, he is permanently fixed on a stand that is decorated to look like porous concrete, which has felt on the bottom to protect the surface it is placed on..

Made in a non-smoking home. The doll is shipped in a gift box with tissue and a display certificate.
