    Description

    An Asian Fantasy Art, One Of A Kind, Handcrafted Kimono Doll by Franklin Lim Liao.  He was an amazing couture designer, and a San Francisco based artist of legendary renown in the world of doll collecting who specialized in modifying Barbie Dolls in a distinct East Asian Style.  No two dolls/costumes and accessories are exactly identical.
    Sadly, Mr. Liao passed in January 2015 but leaves a legacy of incredible designs.
    This is one of his Asian Fantasy Art Dolls. This raven-haired Barbie with a custom hairstyle, APPLIED EYELASHES!! makeup, and handcrafted silk kimono was transformed in 1998. I no longer have the signed doll stand, and it is unknown if Franklin signed his name anywhere on her body since she is fully clothed.
    Also, one of his dolls has sold for quite a bit at a Christies' auction a few years back.  This doll will only INCREASE in value.  She will come with the fancy white made-for-
