Description

The  coax tweeter concentric to the woofer of the MPX 165.3 car audio coaxial speakers  allows for one single linear-phase emission point, for a natural timbre providing a detailed sound stage. Thanks to the “Center Tuning Duct” geometry, the tweeter resonance frequency is especially low and the employment of damping materials for the inside provides for a linear acoustic emission. The acoustic lens optimizes its off-axis response, which is typical with door installation of coax speakers; besides, the 36 mm diameter woofer generates deep and controlled bass frequencies.

20 mm voice coil Tetolon fiber soft dome tweeter, featuring "Center Tuning Duct" geometry, for lower resonance frequency and reduced harmonic distortion.
Tweeter support working as a rear chamber, sized for low Fs, to ensure a well damped high pass frequency roll-off, allowing low cut-off frequency crossover point.
36 mm pure copper woofer voice coil wound on a Polyamide former, for outstanding power handling and dynamic compression-free reproduction.
Pressed-pulp cone with cotton fibers, combining stiffness and lightweight for a wide frequency response. Cone profile geometrically refined to perfectly match with the tweeter emission ensuring phase consistency in the crossover area.
"Boundary Free" rubber surround, for improved efficiency and wider mid-bass frequency.
Over-sized ferrite magnet combined with very low carbon content iron plates, for low distortion at high power levels.
Low mounting depth, acoustically transparent aluminium alloy basket with elegant diamond cutting and featuring the aluminium Hertz logo.
Anti-vibration rubber magnet cover, to damp spurious vibrations.

We will ship to anywhere in the continental United States for Free on products indicating free shipping. If you have an APO address, or HI, AK or PR we will need to quote shipping prior to your purchase. Please email via the eBay messaging system and we will be happy to quote your shipping fees. On items that are not indicated as free the shipping rate will be calculated by weight and postal code and can be found using the shipping tab located at the top of the listing.
Smaller items less than 1 pound will most likely be shipped via usps first class mail provided they are within measurements. Anything 2-5 pounds will most likely ship via usps priority mail or parcel select provided they are within measurements. Anything over 5 pounds with larger measurement will be shipped via UPS. Please indicate on your paypal payment in the notes section if you cannot receive usps at your physical address and indicate your postal address in the notes section of paypal.
Please Note: Any items over 0 will be sent signature required and the customer must make themselves available at the shipping address to sign for the package as it arrives.

General Return Policy:
No returns will be accepted without a return authorization, which will be given on a case by case basis at Sound of Tri-State's discretion. Please email us using the Ask Seller a Question Link to obtain a return authorization number. NOTE: Any return that does not have a return authorization number written on the outside of the package will not be accepted. We only ship to the address we have on file. Sound of Tri-State has the sole discretion as to what is warrantied. Also Sound of Tri-State is not responsible for any shipping charges. It is our intention to keep you, the customer happy. With that in mind, we will do our best to repair or exchange the item sent back to us in good faith.
For returns made 14 days from date of purchase, payment will be refunded less shipping and handling and up to a 15% restocking fee, if a refund is wanted. The item has to be complete in order to receive a refund. If an item is found defective within 14 days, the customer does not have to pay the restocking fees to receive the replacement unit or refund. After 14 days from your receipt date, defective items may be repaired or replaced at Sound of Tri-State's discretion ( Except Remanufactured products, which are only repaired.) The customer will need to send payment for return shipping and handling . The return fee is a non-refundable service fee and will not be part of any credit issued.
