Gildie~1940's Glamour Icon~OOAK Barbie Doll Repaint

~About her~
I decided to do yet another era glam icon after "Ginger," and "Jean," so I present "Gildie" from the 1940's. She is wearing a full-length silky, strapless form-fitting gown that has a bow sitting high on her left hip and a slit that goes from there to the ground. She is wearing full-length silky black gloves. Her make-over includes my realistic eyelashes over darkly lined brown eyes and sculpted dark eyebrows. Her lips are now a dark rosy pink. Her hair has dyed in hues of golden brown, and (permanently) styled with curls from that era. Around her neck is a simple, but thick, golden chain. Lastly, on her feet are black, open-toed high-heeled shoes with ribbon straps. {Please know that I am a better OOAK doll maker than photographer and she looks much better in person.} She would make a great addition to your doll collection!
"Fine Print"
I am not affiliated with Mattel. I transform new and "rescued" Barbies (Kens, etc.) into my own one-of-a-kind (OOAK) creations. The dolls may be used, but the materials used on them are new and make them into a new creation - that is why they are marked "new" in the description. This doll comes to you as shown-everything is hand-sewn or hand-applied, and not removable (except where noted) - but remains fully posable, made in a non-smoking home. The doll is shipped in a gift box with tissue and a display certificate. (Background image and stand are NOT included, however a choice of stands are available to the winning bidder on a Buy It Now basis.)
