The new ESCORT M1 dash cam records the road ahead in 1080p high definition quality and is optimized for both day and night recording.  The M1 is designed to attach to most ESCORT detector mounts while also using the same power source to operate the dash cam and detector. This integration eliminates the need for additional cords and power sources in the car and creates a single space on the windshield for both the detection unit and dash cam.
The M1 is controlled through the ESCORT M1 app via Wi-Fi connectivity. Through the app, drivers can control the dash cam functionality including resolution and settings.  The ESCORT M1 app also lets users download footage from the dash cam directly to their smart devices, so it can be shared instantly with insurance companies or other parties.
The Emergency Record Button and G-Sensor allow the M1 to lock down important video files in cases of emergency, whether by manual activation or by collision detection.  Super-capacitor technology allows the ESCORT M1 to withstand extreme car temperatures.
The ESCORT M1 requires a compatible detector, detector mount and cord.

For how long: One (1) year from the date of the original purchase.
What we will do: ESCORT, at our discretion, will either repair or replace your product free of charge.
What we will not do: ESCORT will not pay shipping charges that you incur for sending your product to us.
What you must do to maintain this warranty: Show original proof of purchase from an authorized ESCORT dealer.
Warranty Exclusions: Warranty does not apply to your product under any of the following conditions:
1. The serial number has been removed or modified.
2. Your product has been subjected to misuse or damage (including water damage, physical abuse, and/or improper installation).
3. Your product has been modified in any way.
4. Your receipt or proof-of-purchase is from a non-authorized dealer or internet auction site including E-bay, U-bid, or other non-authorized resellers.

Warranty Information
Each product we manufacture is covered by our factory warranty. While each product may have unique components and policy, the general guideline below will apply to most Escort Inc. products.
All Escort Inc. models purchased factory-direct or from our Authorized Resellers will come with a full one-year warranty from the date of the original retail purchase (see policy statement above for full warranty details and exclusions).
Standard accessories packaged with each model will have a one-year factory warranty.
Remote installed system components have a one year factory warranty.
Accessory items have a six (6) month factory warranty.
Extended Service Plans add two (2) additional years to the original factory warranty. The Escort Service Plan extends the factory warranty to the applicable model or unit, but will not extend the warranty to any accessories (whether packaged with the model or separately).
Other legal rights: This Warranty gives you specific rights. You may have other legal rights, which vary, from state to state.

When returning products, you are responsible to ensure that we receive the products and that the products are not damaged in transit. Therefore, for your protection, when you are returning a product to us, we recommend that you acquire a tracking number.

Any returned items that are found not to be faulty or incomplete will be returned to you and we shall be entitled to charge you for the return shipment costs via your original payment method. In the event that we do not receive complete payment we will hold the item(s) until full payment has been made for the return carriage.
Any items that you return to us are at your own risk, therefore we strongly advise all our customers to take reasonable care when returning any items to us for example, by ensuring the goods are correctly addressed, adequately packaged, and carried by a reputable carrier.
