    Description

    We have for you a somewhat difficult to find Commonwealth Jams and Jellies sun colored amethyst quart fruit jar. This jar is from Australia and dates to the last quarter of the 19th century. Jar has a rolled lip with plenty of seed bubbles and whittling throughout. No cracks or chips to jar even though photos make the lip area of the jar seem to have damage. Just a slight hint of glass sickness, but not bad overall. Bottom is embossed with an M and front has the flag of Australia with Trade Mark flanking the flag. Jar is 6" tall and 3.5" in diameter.
