The iLX-F309FRN comes with all the components you need to add the 9-inch Alpine Halo9 to your SUV. The main chassis comes pre-assembled to the 4-Runner dash kit out of the box, so you don’t need to research, buy, and assemble a compatible dash kit on your own. In addition, the iLX-F309FRN’s screen comes pre-positioned at the optimal angle, height, and depth for your 4-Runner, eliminating the need for you to tweak these positions through trial and error yourself. The required 4-Runner wiring harness and other adapters come with the iLX-F309FRN too. The result? Faster and easier installation, so you can get on the road and enjoy your iLX-F309FRN.
Retains Vehicle Information
The iLX-F309FRN comes with an iDatalink Maestro Module to retain 4-Runner features like the vehicle cluster sub-display and steering wheel controls. Other vehicle information such as tire pressure readings, open door alerts, and vehicle vitals are viewable on the large screen. The iDatalink Maestro Module is already pre-programmed for the 4-Runner, so you don’t need to configure the module to your truck before installing it.
The Technology You Want With The Convenience Of A Large Screen
The iLX-F309FRN is the easiest way to add a large screen and new technology into your 4-Runner. Be smart about using your phone in your truck and take advantage of the iLX-F309FRN’s compatibility with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. After connecting your smartphone via the charging cable and activating Bluetooth for Android Auto use, you get your music, driving directions, and phone calls all controlled from the 9-inch touchscreen and heard through your 4-Runner’s speaker system -- so you don’t have to look at or touch your phone and can keep it safely stored away.
Android Auto
The iLX-F309FRN includes Android Auto and works with the Google Assistant (requires both a USB cable and Bluetooth® connection; requires an Android™ phone running 5.0 [Lollipop] or higher and the Android Auto app). To access the Google Assistant on Android Auto, say "OK Google" or select the mic button. Google Assistant in Android Auto allows users to play their favorite music, get driving directions to their destination, interact with smart home devices and reply to text messages – hands free.
Enjoy a variety of apps through Android Auto, including driving directions from Google Maps with satellite view and Waze.
Apple Carplay
The iLX-F309FRN “Works with Apple CarPlay” and lets iPhone users make and receive calls, access text messages, play music, and get directions in a way that allows them to stay focused on the road. Apple CarPlay is accessed through the capacitive touch screen or the mic button to activate Siri voice control and is compatible with iPhone 5 and later (iPhone must be connected via Apple lightning cable).
