Tacoma-Ready Installation
The iLX-F309TCM comes with all the components you need to add the 9" Alpine Halo9 to your truck. The main chassis comes pre-assembled to the Tacoma dash kit out of the box, so you don’t need to research, buy, and assemble a compatible dash kit on your own. In addition, the iLX-F309TCM’s screen comes pre-positioned at the optimal angle, height, and depth for your Tacoma, eliminating the need for you to tweak these positions through trial and error yourself. The required Tacoma wiring harness and other adapters come with the iLX-F309TCM too. The result? Faster and easier installation, so you can get on the road and enjoy your iLX-F309TCM. NOTE: The iLX-F309TCM Screen comes out of the box separate from the chassis due to the installation requirements of the Tacoma.
Retains Vehicle Information
The iLX-F309TCM comes with an iDatalink Maestro Module to retain Tacoma features like the vehicle cluster sub-display and steering wheel controls. Other vehicle information such as tire pressure readings, open door alerts, and vehicle vitals are viewable on the large screen. The iDatalink Maestro Module is already pre-programmed for the Tacoma, so you don’t need to configure the module to your truck before installing it.
The Technology You Want With The Convenience Of A Large Screen
The iLX-F309TCM is the easiest way to add a large screen and new technology into your Tacoma. Be smart about using your phone in your truck and take advantage of the iLX-F309TCM’s compatibility with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. After connecting your smartphone via the charging cable and activating Bluetooth for Android Auto use, you get your music, driving directions, and phone calls all controlled from the 9-inch touchscreen and heard through your Tacoma’s speaker system -- so you don’t have to look at or touch your phone and can keep it safely stored away.
Android Auto
The iLX-F309TCM includes Android Auto and works with the Google Assistant (requires both a USB cable and Bluetooth® connection; requires an Android™ phone running 5.0 [Lollipop] or higher and the Android Auto app). To access the Google Assistant on Android Auto, say "OK Google" or select the mic button. Google Assistant in Android Auto allows users to play their favorite music, get driving directions to their destination, interact with smart home devices and reply to text messages – hands free.
Enjoy a variety of apps through Android Auto, including driving directions from Google Maps with satellite view and Waze.
Apple Carplay
The iLX-F309TCM “Works with Apple CarPlay” and lets iPhone users make and receive calls, access text messages, play music, and get directions in a way that allows them to stay focused on the road. Apple CarPlay is accessed through the capacitive touch screen or the mic button to activate Siri voice control and is compatible with iPhone 5 and later (iPhone must be connected via Apple lightning cable).

The versatile speaker upgrade with incredible sound tech. The new S-Series Speakers have been newly designed with upgrades to voice coil size and cone material to provide great sound quality. The S-Series speakers are the new benchmark for entry OEM upgrades.
INCREASED DRIVING POWER AND CONTROL
The S-Series speakers have a large voice coil. The 6.5-inch and 6x9-inch models have a 35-mm voice coil, and this large voice coil size increases their driving power and control of the motor. The S-Series speakers are the first in the industry to use a material called CFRP (Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic), a very lightweight yet rigid material. On a standard, off-the-shelf oval cone, the edges are naturally weaker than the center due to the elongated shape. Since the CFRP material is directional, it can be manipulated during the molding process to strengthen the areas of the cone that are normally weak. The result is rigidity throughout the cone that delivers accurate and efficient performance. The ability to manipulate the CFRP material during the molding process is currently exclusive to Alpine and the S-Series speakers. Alpine has three patent-pending procedures in support of this innovative manufacturing process.

Alpine’s patented H.A.M.R. (High Amplitude Multi-Roll) surround is now found on the S-Series speakers. This proven technology increases excursion while maintaining accuracy and linearity. The 1-inch silk dome is perfect for recreating pleasant upper range response without creating listening fatigue in the vehicle. The soft silk material ensures wide frequency response and durability for long term playback.

To meet the needs of the most common applications in speaker replacement today, we’ve introduced a new 6x9-inch component set to offer newer domestic trucks and cars the ability to upgrade the sound quality in their vehicle. This component set with its innovative technology makes it a simple solution to getting Alpine sound in many of these vehicles on the road today.
