    History:
1963 SALADA JUNKET BASEBALL COINS. A much smaller set of baseball coins was issued by Salada/Junket in 1963. The 63 coins issued were called "All-Star" Baseball Coins and included most of the top players of the day. Unlike 1962, the coins were made of metal and measured a slightly larger 1-1/2 inch diameter. American League players have blue rims on their coins, while the National Leaguers are rimmed in red. Coins fronts contain no printing on the full color player photos, while backs list coin number, player name, team and position, along with brief statistics and the sponsors’ logos.
