Vintage original TCA Trans Canada Air Lines Vickers Viscount CF-TGI 1/50 scale in cast metal by Westway Models UK.
CF-TGI was the very first Viscount delivered to TCA in 1954, and this model dates from that year and features the all metal scheme. Soon after, TCA started painting the roofs of the aircraft white so this data allows us the precisely pin point the vintage build of this model to the year 1954.
For a 68 year old model it is in pretty decent shape. The model itself has not had any restoration efforts to my eyes, and all the bumps and blemishes of her age are on show as presented in my accompanying photos. I believe the stand is a replacement stand.
This model is large and measures 21 inches long with a 24 inch wingspan.
Estimated postage and packing in US and Canada is estimated at 0 due large size and weight. Could be more, could be less but I never charge more than actual.
